STS carry a full range of spares for these and the expertise to work on them, I have five, all serviced by STS and they are brilliant, not cheap to service or repair but once done they will go for ever. I have a 1511 Marine Chronometer, serviced in 2009 and all it has had since is battery changes, it costs me roughly 40 every two years now to change the battery at STS so when you extrapolate that out they are as equally economical to wear as any other Omega.

Been a long time lurking and when one showed up I finally jumped at it. It’s heavy, it’s loud, it is shaped like a lunch box but god I love it!!
..and gold plated, the exaggeration of the exaggeration, in other words: full throttle 80's, looks damned good 😀

Congrats ! I love the dial as much as I hate the case. Do you guys know if these kind of stardust dials have ever been housed in other cases ?
