    Hi,

Any recs on nice straps for a watch with female spring bars? I can't seem to find much of anything other than nato. Here's what I'm shopping for:

You can use regular straps on a watch like this. It is only the springbars that have to be suited to the lugs.

Do you take out the spring bar from the regular strap and just fit it into the lug pins?

No, female spring-bars are just as they sound, with a hollow end that fits over the pins on the case.

Understood... but I don't get how Lou means to use them. I have the female spring bars. I just have no idea where to find a strap that has holes large enough to fit them.

I use toothpicks to solve your dilemma...

PM sent. My 19mm (guessing) Horween shell straps would do quite nicely as the leather is more pliable than some.

As Rich reccs, the toothpick trick should help too, or use the bracelet end of a standard Springbar tool and go around in circles to gently stretch out the ends of the strap.
