feedback needed on 2 seamaster

Guys,
I am a definite newbie to vintage watches. I recently acquired these two seamaster. They work and keep time great. I had two questions that i would greatly appreciate any feedback or insight:

1. Year and estimate of value current condition?
2. I am considering have them serviced and clean, any tips on what to have done and what should i expect cost wise for a service/cleaning? Any thing i should not have them do other than polish the case?

On both of these, all of the scratches (if not most) seem to be on the crystal, and i am planning on having that replaced.

Many thanks as always

Both dials are quite unusual, thanks for posting. You will probably get a lot more information if you post more photos from various angles, including of the movements and inside case-backs.

Hi,
I think that the first one is an interesting piece, probably a 165.002 also known as “speedmaster companion”. This one is not so common, and you have a double signature with the “Meister” inscription, which should add again some desirability to this uncommon but interesting watch. Only problem, the dial is not in perfect condition.

it should be a cal 552 inside, I think this one is pretty scarce, but I’ll let specialist confirm!

Did you open it?

You started with some unusual watches. Both are probably from the 60's. The second one could be problematic for me. Never saw this dial configuration before. Is the swiss made hidden behind the marker? First one is uncommon to say the least. But the dial is quite damaged. Service costs vary depending on location and parts that need to be replaced. But think between eur 150 till eur 400. Value... well... eur 450 for the first one. Second one depends on originality. Do you have more pictures of the watches?

the Swiss made is just hidden because of the angle..will post more pictures soon. Can’t wait to hear additional thoughts.

I’ve seen #2 dial configuration before, it seems ok to me. Value depends on gold content.

Dibs on #1 by the way, I don’t mind the patina 👍

Actually not a Speedmaster Companion. It's a sub genre of numerous designs put out by Omega in the late 60's of scientific styled dials

This is the companion model. Nothing but logo and Omega on the dial. White hands and black dial.
