·It would be really useful in my eye having a Strikethrough icon in the text editor. It's may be used sparsely, but I would guess so is Underline and that has its own icon in the editor. Useful when lowering a price in a sale post, when making an edit on a post and not wanting to delete the previous word/phrase, etc. But maybe it's only useful to me, so it would help if other members chimed in.
This is how the editor currently looks on its smallest width in a desktop. There's space in there for a couple more icons.
The only way to add strikethrough is via the code editor:
When copy pasting text, strikethrough doesn't carry its formatting in the editor. I'm guessing it's stripped, which in my opinion shouldn't be the case. Bold or italic are carried when pasting.
