Anyone know anything about these Chrono’s? I assume 60s and running manual Valjoux... terrible pics but getting some better ones. Any info you may have would be of interest. Ta!

Perhaps someone with knowledge of FL chronos will chip in. I don't own any FL chronos but am a big fan of its dress watches

They used a wide range of movements in these, from Valjoux 23 column-wheel to Landeron 149 cam-lever, so you really can't tell much without seeing the inside. Gold-plated case, I guess? I can't see the hands very well in that photo, but obviously they should have lume to match the little lume dots inside the applied markers.

The owner is thinking about removing the gold plate. He thinks this was done in the 80s so should be steel. Not sure who could get it back to originals state these days?

No, that's not correct. The case-back says "stainless steel back" which means that the case itself is plated. If the case were all stainless, the back would say only "stainless steel". There is base metal underneath the gold plate. This is vintage watches 101.
