    Hello everyone

If you follow or know me you are aware that i'm a big Favre-Leuba fan.
I have found something special and interesting.

In May will be at Antiquorum for auction the original Favre-Leuba Bivouac which was with Adrian Ballinger on the top of the Everest.

    https://catalog.antiquorum.swiss/en...bivouac-9000-lot-321-529?page=1&q=favre+leuba

The watch itself with the altimeter function is very interesting and special but an original Bivouac with Everest history is absolutly cool stuff.

The best beside the watch, 100% of the auction price will be given to the Alex Lowe Foundation.

Let's say summa summarum a cool watch for a good thing.

Amazing. It almost looks too modern, and too well preserved to have been to Everest and back....Any skeptics out there?

Well, I guess the guy wasn’t spending much time admiring the watch so the watch was under the sleeves well protected . Looks great

Good point! The provenance is amazing. Seems a lot more valuable than you average 5513.

Nice. A few weeks ago I bid (unsuccessfully) on one of the original ones at Skinner Auctions

Agreed, but you’d be nuts to wear an original Bivouac to Everest.

It would be very strange to take a vintage bivouac on the everest because on technical side the vintage Bivouac could not measure more than +-3000m above sea level. I think also this project was a small marketing project to prove or show the people what the new Bivouac 9000 can.
