My Universal family grew this year and I wanted to post a quick few pics. A modest fam but I love them even if they act up from time to time. The compax is the beauty queen of the group with a robust Valjoux 72.6 beating underneath. The monopulsante is a throwback from the 20's and to me reflects the hope and optimism of the era. The 60's- black swan aerocompax is deep and mysterious. Few have surfaced and some think it's a prototype dial- I usually go with occam's razor in these cases and believe it's just another variation of the 890101/01. This one counts off 1 min increments instead of 30 sec. of its counterpart all white/printed logo dial. The electric is an anachronism- feels like it could've been designed and manufactured today.
