    It is tricky to buy watches (especially vintage watches) for your sons unless you really know their taste. For example most of vintage watches size are small by today standard , it would be awkward for them if they don't like your gift because they feel outdated but they feel obligation to wear them.

    It would be better to let them know you will buy them watches with certain budget and let them choose what they like.

    Just my 2 cents
