    Hello.
First of all I hope it's ok for me to post this question here, Im new to this forum. I recently bought a omega Seamaster 1022, supposed too be from 1970. I have had the watch in my possesion for some time now and its getting almost impossible to change the date on the watch, whenever I try too it just kinda flickers and stay at the same date or halfway between this and the next date. Also the gold coating at the end of the crown with the logo just fell off and it seems to be made of some kind of plastic material (might be gold coating). Im also noticing it dosen't say "swiss made" at the 6 o'clock, but there seems too be some black marking of some kind. Please take a look at the pictures bellow.
Thank you and sorry for my attempt at writing english.

Four pictures, not one of them in focus?! That has to be a new record! ;)

Your watch is a genuine Omega, but very worn. The normal advice would be to find a reputable watchmaker and get it repaired and serviced, but unless this one holds any sentimental value to you, go find another one - these are quite common and you could easily find one that's in better shape to begin with.
