Hi, a noob in this forum. I wonder if anyone can help me with the following DeVille Prestige i am interested on. My main question is whether the word "De Ville" has changed over time as i know newer Omega has it written as "DE VILLE', all in Capital Letters. However this watch has it different, or this is different generation? Per seller: the reference number is 168.1055

    Appreciate for any help. thanks

Hello - 168.1055 is not actually the reference number - that is a partial case number. That case is used on several different DeVille models, but the black dial reference with the 1508/837 bracelet is Ref. 45125000. These have a Cal. 1120 inside.

I can't read the serial number on the case back - if you could get that I can check to make sure it matches the reference. Otherwise the watch looks completely legit to me, and the DeVille printing on the dial is just as it should be.

    Cheers, Al
