eBay should cover you in this case. You have a right to return if item is not as described and this is not an Omega Speedmaster.

 

Contact eBay and initiate a return based on the item not matching the description. That's probably your only recourse at this point.

 

My brother bought one of those for $39 from a site in Asia, exact same fake. Report it as a fake to eBay and Paypal and demand to cancel the auction and get refund. Definitely dispute this. AND NEXT TIME CHECK HERE FIRST BEFORE BUYING!

I have reason to believe your Omega Speedmaster is the reduced (in size) model. Much discussion on this MB about the Speedmaster reduced! I have one (not the same model) and I love it. You may eventually want to add a Speedmaster Professional to your collection. This one is not a Professional.

 

Speedmaster Professionals all have manual wind movements. The "reduced" are all automatic movements. Similar functions, but completely different watches.

 

Wow close call. I mean if you had sat on that for a while and then decided to check on it. Which begs the question, does anyone know if there is a timeline in place with Ebay/Paypal for you to raise a complaint and seek a return? Or is it open ended?

 

That is not a reduced. It's a bad fake.

 

I think @Canuck was referring to the second one the OP bought now, not the first.

I don't know what breed of Speedmaster that one is, but it's not of the purest!
