Hello Omega Enthusiasts,

I recently purchase this watch for my husband and I was told that it’s fake, but looks real to me.
What do you guys think?

Ask them to pull the sticker off the display back and take photos of the movement.

Did you buy it somewhere you can return it. That’s a very nice thought you had the intent of getting ur husband a nice watch but the scammers ruined it if indeed it’s fake (kinda looks it) but I’m not an expert in such matters

I am honestly a little suspect of it. I will attach two screenshots:

1. The seconds hand on yours looks too long. Thank you, btw, for including good and direct on images. Yours is on the left and from Omega's website on the right. You can see your seconds hand overlaps the minute track on the dial whereas the one shown on Omega's website does not.

2. Maybe this is due to the lighting in your images compared to the bright light from Omega, but you can see a dial texture, almost like a sunburst effect on the dial on the right, whereas yours does not appear to have this. This image of yours is the best example and I feel, even in your lighting, we should see that texture. I hope this makes sense.

If the serial number is actually 82186396 then it is a fake. Found a replica forum that explains the different versions of the fakes and the associated serial numbers. This particular one is "V2".

Fake, I'm afraid. If you bought the watch usng a credit card, I would contact your credit card issuer, explain the situation, and determine if there is any basis for disputing the charge.

This is one of may favorites. I'm so new though that the only thing I see if that the second hand is a little to long. I need a better eye for these.
