this guy on ebay is selling a fake omega nato strap http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-O...ond-Spectre-/201420391567?hash=item2ee597448fPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network told ebay no replie yet
You see what he's done, the part number on the package is 94512002, which is a genuine Omega part, specifically the buckle, which is $36 on Ofrei, and probably $15 wholesale. He's then fitted it to a generic $1 NATO strap and thinks he can pretend he's selling the genuine Omega NATO because he has a genuine Omega packet for the buckle. He's outright trying to rip people off there... $16 outlay for $250
cute, Seller never says the strap is original... "Genuine OEM Omega 20mm buckle on a Black / Grey NATO strap (James Bond Spectre)" I could hear him say "hey I never said the strap was original Omega"!!
Wow, there are several doing this on Ebay. One other mentions it is a non OEM strap, and the other a mil-spec Panatime Nato strap.
This will be an ongoing trend until the hype of natos dies and then the omega NATO will devalue due to the ease with which ppl can make fakes
Seems like the buckle is not available on Ofrei anymore. Damn must have been all bought up by these people
Was watching this one and couldn't tell if it was legit http://m.ebay.com/itm/Omega-20mm-Brown-Nylon-Fabric-Strap-/262067667502?nav=WATCHING_ENDEDPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Pretty cool though.
