    Howdy folks.

I recently picked up a parts watch for the 267 movement that was fitted, knowing it was a bad franken but with a good movement. Now I'm left with the case, I have a question for you wise ones.

It came with this caseback, which I believe is from a 30T2 or similar?

Then there's the rest of the case.. it's a mess, you have been warned ;)

I believe the caseback is legitimate, so my question is about the case middle. I think it's fake, correct?

Judging by the watch coming with a movement a good decade older than the caseback, it wouldn't surprise me, but it'd be good to know for sure.

One thing's for sure it's not stainless unlike the caseback, I've never seen an Omega case with such bad brassing. It's terrible :D The curious thing is that wherever it came from, the 267 fitted well and legitimate looking caseback snaps on perfectly. Weird

    Cheers!

Looks like the case middle is base metal that was plated and not stainless steel like the back and perhaps the bezel. So more than likely it is not the original middle.
