I recently picked up a cal 354 French cased Constellation 2648 and mentioned in my post that I have a soft spot for these Omega´s that were specifically badged, '' Fab Suisse '' or sometimes, '' Importe de Suisse '' for the French market.

There is something about the extra text and different case and case hallmarks that to me at least makes for a nice niche within my collection. :)

I know that there are a few of us here who feel the same way and have some great examples, so, let´s see ´em!

    I´ll start off with mine,

    27 CHRO C12 and a cal 321

The gem is the 27 CHRO C12 - you know who to contact if you decide to sell (AKA Dibs). ;)

Very nice group, and I share your Fab Suisse soft spot, mainly expressed in Longines form.

I second the Fab Suisse, and Tony's Longines...

...and add a UG in Jaeger clothes (Fab. Suisse obscured by the crystal)...

And let's not forget the nifty French 18K hallmark - very stern looking eagle

    Hi all,

I am not sure if my first watch qualifies for this post as it was produced in Switzerland but carries the wording '' Importe de Suisse '' on the bottom of the dial. I thought it were worth to show it though as it is a unique piece... produced as early as 1931 and delivered to the "French Colonies" (extract from the museum). For those who like to save references - especially for Yann, as he is also fond of "rectangles" like I am - it is a Ref. RW 901 JA with the round Cal. 19.4 inside (sorry no T17 or F 20...)

    with box.jpg

    here with the original box.

    watch.jpg

What makes this watch so outstanding is not only the near perfect preservation, but the fact that it is executed in yellow and white gold.
The middle part is white gold, the bezel and case back are yellow (case back with 2 white gold corners...). The sides are adorned with a nice pattern.

    and here the side view:

    side.jpg

The yellow gold of the bezel is very tarnished, so it looks dirty when you watch it from the front... a sign that it has not been touched/polished for decades - I decided to leave it as is, as this patina has taken a very long time to develop like this and it would be lost for ever if the case was polished.

    Hope you enjoy!

The next watch to come is a really French example.

    best

Almost forgot about my most recent acquisition (thanks to the help of a forum member). Haven't even received it yet, but it is a rather uncommon (Eterna) variation, and the seller's photo will have to suffice for now.
