Welcome to OF!

Rob Berkavicius does an excellent job at a reasonable price.
It's not a garden variety watch. Most watchmakers do not have the experience or proper tools to service it.

BTW, punctuation serves a purpose.

With respect to the suggestion above, I think the OP is in the UK so a more local solution may be preferable. Paul at www.electric-watches.co.uk is the go to guys for hummers in the UK. In fact he is pretty much the only game in town unless you want to spend an arm and a leg at STS. There are at least 2 owners with that model on here, its more normally known as 198.5001. They are a nice chunky lump of 9K gold made in the UK by Shackman and sons. The 398 prefix you quote is intriguing as it suggests it is on the bracelet, also presumably solid 9K gold.

I am sure he can help - a very capable fellow.

Probably the most efficient and fastest service of a watch I have experienced yet. Happens to be extremely reasonably priced too and communication were great. I cannot recommend him enough.

Seems Paul is away until June , so will sit on it till I’ve spoken to him.

BTW, punctuation serves a purpose.
The difference between

Helping your Uncle, Jack, off a horse.
And
Helping your Uncle jack off a horse.

If you are in a rush then get in touch by pm since I know a couple of other options. Both reliable but both more costly than Paul. If you aren’t then wait for Paul.
