It amazes me how some of these watches age...:)

Just picked up this Constellation today and it has a similar orange patina like my 30T2RG.

And a Datejust with very little aging :D

    Any other patina lovers?

How does Kyle do it? It almost feels like he just walks down a street and BAM there is a pie pan connie with arrow head markers just lieing on the pavement in front of him?

Sixteen years from now a proud Kyle L takes his young daughter to her first day at school.
That's a very pretty name, says the teacher.
Tell me, Patina, were you named after someone special. :D

    Mmmmmm, toasty!

Better than the woman from Camden who named her daughter LaTrina.

No, I swear that isn't a joke. LaTrina - as in the word for bathroom.

I GET it! With Kyle, watches are like the portrait of Dorian Grey! Kyle is actually 76 years old!

Interesting patina on the arrowhead connie. But I am just thinking, maybe you will be buying a Swatch when you turn 60. Reverse psychology.

Yep, i,m all for patina - at least, a little bit of it

this has a pristine cal 491, 16 mln, case ref 2981, Geneva dress watch from 1958 - with a 3 edged SS bezel, SS clip case back, and I believe, solid pink gold arrowhead markers and hands - which look spectacular a night, when the light catches the edges

patina is mainly on the crown side of the watch only

    cheers, Paul

I believe there is orientation information in the meta data of the photo. Some sites honor the info and some down. I get the same problem with Facebook where I've rotated a picture and saved it in Microsoft Paint..then I get to Facebook and it's complete facing the wrong way.

This patina - I think that's being polite - what on earth did Omega use on their dials that went off so badly? The ones from the1930s have lasted better . . .
