Did anyone notice that since few days you cannot longer archive extracts via the Omega website? I have one on order and tried to order a second one, for another Speedmaster, few days back but this option is no longer listed under the services menu (maybe it's still in your browsers cache but it no longer seems to work).
Does anyone have similar experience and what could be the reason?

That Not good news - Hope you find another way to order an extract. Perhaps in an Omega store?

 

I'm in the uk and have two on order for the last month. Have they shut for summer hols or big backlog.

 

maybe the archives are moving to the new building ...

 

As I was told the archivist is absent for 4 weeks for various reasons - maybe this is the reason they shut down the service for some time...

You can still order them from your local OB. I placed an order through them a couple of weeks ago and was approved.

 

Tis quite the Northern European thing to take a 3 week holiday this time of year. Mandated in some countries

Well now look at this, came through today.......someone must be still working

 

Short update. My pending extract was confirmed yesterday which means it took 16 days to process (nice!) and the online service seems to work again as well. Today I filed for another extract. I could also notice the order number and learned that those extracts are requested from the Omega archive at a rate of 5 per day (including weekends) in past few weeks.
