Hi OF Looking at this Explorer II today on C24. It comes with original box and papers from 2010, G series with 3186 movement. Seller told that the watch was never polished before. Can anybody see any red flags? It seems to be bit overpriced but I'm willing to keep the watch. Thanks in advance!
Already checked watch number through Rolex tracker, norecords there, so everything seems legit to me. Will pull the triger and thanks gentlemans for your help!
Yes it's 16570. Maybe they are very blurred? here is the pic of mine 3185 from 2005 i'd say it seems the same?
Yes I can see them now, thank you! Still can’t see them proper, but recognise the contour of the tip of the lug.
Very clean looking watch. I own a 2008 w 3186, unpolished case but bracelet had a light polish to it by my watch maker. I will compare your case to mine.
Nice...almost too nice. For never being polished it looks like it was never worn during its 9 year life. That being said a light polish never killed anybody but it would annoy me if they lied about it.
I would only be buying from a dealer on C24. No private sellers, and use their buyer protected payment method. Go to a watch dealer and have it authenticated at your expense...
Congrats on the pickup! FWIW, the 3186’s do typically sell for a premium. Now you have both and I like how the “thickness” of the black portions on the markers vary.
Engraved rehaut, upgraded movement, great looking watch. I also like the slightly different hour markers, with a little less black. Great pick up
