More questions from that guy with the hands.

This seller has a sub but he put an Explorer bracelet on it. No subs came with this style clasp right?

Nope, this clasp was only found on Exp1 / GMT from approx 2000+
That's what I thought. It's not a bad thing to have but they want a full price on this.

I'll see what I can do with the seller.
It's not going to happen but I'll try to make a deal.

Some years ago, I bought a GMT with a Sub bracelet on it. I was new to watches and didn't realize the difference. When I figured it out (after I bought it) I was able to find a GMT bracelet on EBay and swapped the guy for the Sub bracelet. Think I even made some money on the deal.

I think back in 90s you could have buy GMT on SUB bracelet if asked for it (and fee) at least that's what people say...

@Hands90
It would be helpful if you listed the Submariner Ref. number, the bracelet number, and the number on the end pieces.

However, it's common (for some reason) to see the opposite on older GMT's: Submariner clasp including the diver's extension, sometimes jokingly (?) referred to as "flight suit extension" or something or other😵‍💫🤨.

Is a sub bracelet considered desirable? I can see wanting it on an actual Rolex Submariner if I purchase one but I feel like the older ones feel like hollow tin and I wouldn’t prefer that on any watch that didn’t need it

Yup - they're tinny, fragile, thin, lightweight ... but I'll take it off your hands seeing as you obviously don't like it. Shall we say £50?
