Thoughts on this dial...I know crown is wrong and case is polished. This has a 564 movement with a 26mil. serial #, don't know case reference...any and all help appreciated!:)

Hi Ed, unfortunately that's a redial. "Constellation" text is way off.

No question redial. Text off as Alex said. Easy tell at glance is the straight "n's" in Constellation. Later version than this model.

"Swiss Made" is way too high on the dial. The mark of a lazy redialler.

Aside from being a redial, the case is in poor shape.

I'm trying to hone my skills and knew it was off. I noticed the "Swiss Made" was too high and in my original post I mentioned the crumby case and the crown. So the two Ns in Constellation should be the curled ones even as late as 1968, good to know. When did this change, is there a concrete date or was it gradual? What about the "Automatic" It looks like it fades as you go toward the top, is this also a give away or can age cause this on an original dial?
