Hi all, may need your help in differentiate the realible of 28x and 600 movement. Both are handwinding but which does give more rebust n better experience on it?
Both are good. Both have almost the same power reserve. To my taste, I would vote for a 28* caliber. Movements based on the 30T2 caliber are proven over the years and they are true battle horses!
As Temprus said, both are very reliable. To make a choice, I would rather consider the collectability: I think - and I am sure other do the same - that the 280 series is generally speaking more collectible, in particular because of the movement history, its simple and elegant shape, and the watches it powered. But parts are probably easier to find for the 601...
