Good morning everyone, my name is Richard and I'm from Augusta Georgia and I'd like to introduce myself to the forum and its members. I've been a long time member of the Rolex Forum and I've just now bought my first Omega.
I purchased a one owner complete set 3210.50.00. I'm still waiting for it to arrive from California where it resided. The seller told me he bought it from an AD in Houston in 2004. The seller has lived in California for some time and last year the watch was serviced by Omega in Costa Mesa, so that made me feel really comfortable purchasing it.
I know the purists say to buy the "moon watch" or nothing.... BUT I WANTED A DATE FUNCTION.
I've been trying to do research on the watch and reviews and there's not a lot to read.
Does anyone else own one? I'm very excited to have bought my first Omega, I can seriously see my Rolex and Tudor taking a nap once I receive this watch. I plan for it to be my daily wearer. Here's my watch, I can't wait to receive it! And I look forward to now being able to participate in the Omega forum as an Omega owner!

Thanks to everyone for helping me to learn about my new watch ..... Not that I didn't research it a good bit before I purchased but I'm sure there are things that can be shared by you good folks.
Cheers to all from this proud new Omega owner.

Solid watch with a great movement - based on the serial number yours has the Cal. 1164 inside, so the latest version of the ETA 7750 that Omega used (without co-axial). Should be very accurate and reliable for you.

    Cheers, Al

Thanks Al, the previous owner bought the co-axial model and that's why he let this one go.

Welcome to the forum, makes a change from people asking how much their uncles watch is worth and then disappearing.

It's simply a great-looking watch from a legendary lineage. There are some fun things you can do with this watch by changing out the bracelet every once in a while, maybe for a NATO strap or even a dark-coloured leather strap. Congratulations!

That's a very good point, i bought it with a free Black Cordura Strap included. I like switching my bracelets out for a strap now and again.

My 3210.51 says "Hi". I love mine and it gets a fair amount of wrist time.

I certainly didn't and won't ... This watch will probably spur another Omega purchase. I've been saying all weekend that this is my last watch. My wife just laughed! [emoji12]

Good news is that there are quite a few speedies with Date if that's your kink, so plenty more options to choose from!

How difficult are the bracelets to size? I've noticed they use pins and not screws. That's a bit different for me.

Congrats on the new watch and welcome to OF. Just google omega bracelet sizing and you'll find plenty of excellent info on removing links.

    I'm sure it won't be anything I can't handle.
Funny tho .... I did Google it and found a video from an English guy called Charlie Lux and he had some colorful commentary on the subject. He liked the bracelet but wasn't fond of the pins and said Omega needed to switch to screws.

    That's him! Lmao
I'll tell you tho, it's sad that if you Google my watches reference number ..... OR .... Search the forums:
And there is very little information available. That was my main reason for starting this thread. That Maybe someone besides a "tool" like Archie Luxury wouldn't be my only point of reference.

Order one of these tools, just make sure to get one with a metal base rather than plastic, and keep an eye on the collars!
