·For your consideration is this exceptionally fine 1968 Omega "Ed White" Speedmaster ref: 105.003-65. Serial: 25.44X.XXX
Condition report:
Dial: Original "Narrow T" MKII 105.003 dial in incredible condition. Original Tritium lume is in fantastic shape and has developed a lovely patina. There is only minor degradation and discoloration of the plots.
Hands: Original Tritium hands in excellent shape. The hands match the dial perfectly.
Case: Unpolished and sharp Symmetrical straight lug case.
Crown & pushers: Original "Flat-foot" crown.
Bezel: Original "DON" (Dot Over Ninety) TACHYMETRE bezel in excellent condition. The bezels shows only minor wear as shown in pictures.
Bracelet: Original full length 1035 dated to the 3rd quarter of 1967 with #6 end links.
Movement: Omega Cal 321. The watch has just gone through Omega factory service in Bienne. (April 2021).
Accessories: Omega Extract Of The Archives. Omega Bienne service receipt.
Notes: This beautiful and unmolested example is a two owner watch. Both previous owners were Pasadena PD detectives. The watch was just sent to Switzerland for full factory service. An exceptionally fine example of an unpolished 105.003-65 in this condition is rarely seen.
*The original crown and pushers were replaced during Omega factory service but were returned (along with all other replaced movement parts) and were re-installed by my watchmaker.
