    Hi,
Initially, I just wanted to share with you two nice 1935-36 CK929, with a T17 Inside. Same ref, so same case, but different dials :

The first one is the usual one (with its typical art deco hands) for most of those early CK929 :

It is the one shown on the 1936 brochure for launching the then new T17

The second dial is more unusual but, I think, also original for this reference. :

Those hands are also quite common on early T17. For example on the same 1936 page :

Both watches are from the same period, around 1935-36. The first one has a 8206XXX serial for the caliber and a 9030XXX case serial. The second has a 8184XXX caliber and a 8966XXX case.

What was interesting (at least for me!) was that, when I looked for information on this reference, I found two different reference with apparently the same case in a 1938 catalog :
    CK 929 :

    And CK 3516 :

Then I started to wonder how to differentiate both of those ref.

I found the answer in a 1940 catalog, with a different view of CK3516 :

The side of the watch is different, the lugs are thicker. For illustration, here are a CK 929 and a CK 3516 side by side (CK929 above, CK3615 below) :

I suppose Omega has replaced CK929 by CK3516 around 1938, maybe to have stronger lugs.

    Finally, a picture of my 3516 :

    Now I hope you'll not mis-reference a CK929 or a CK3516...:)

Great information, thank you for sharing! I thought my T17 was CK 3516 but after reading your comparison it's actually CK 929.
