Hi all,

I have been looking for a new everyday watch. I was looking into the Seamaster 2230.50 with the white gold bezel. I have always liked that style of Seamaster with the sword hands. Anyone with this model who thinks it makes a good daily wearer?

It'll do the trick. Slick looking watch you can't go wrong.

 

Not sure if a white gold bezel will hold up to knocks in the same way a non-PM one will, if you want it for a daily wearer. Also, what’s with the gap by the clasp?

 

The gap is because the clasp is not closed in that picture, as too question wich started the thread this would be an excellent daily !

 

I had a gold bezel AC, same watch different dial. The bezel took knocks remarkably well, the finish disguised marks better than the anodised finish on the steel bezel models in my experience. I think makes for a fine daily watch IMO. Just be aware that were you to need a new bezel, last time I asked I was quoted £900 for one. No really.

 

For me it would look too massive, rough and tooley for a daily wearer.

 

Too massive and tooley? 41 x 11mm with a white gold bezel? Not my idea of either of those concepts.

 

Shape of the outer bezel ring, release valve on the left top, big sized hands. Looks very tooley to me. Depends what you are doing and your general style but I would not wear this to the office daily, maybe on Friday.

But good thing is that tastes are different
