I wonder how long this will last? I feel this way with my Tag to some degree, but the Seamaster just looks more luxurious and wow. It provides a more satisfying feeling.

i love the feel of my 2531.80. nice weight and balance.
prefer it to the newer ones based on that, though it IS dated quite a bit. obviously

Thanks. It's super comfy and I love the way it intergrates with the case.

The keepers have some nice details too. The first has a metal skeleton making it super rigid and is branded Omega. The second is flexable (no metal skeleton), has an internal stay to locate into the strap holes and is branded Seamaster. It's all in the details!

 

It will last until the first noticeable scratch or ding or your friendly Omega boutique charges you $800+ for service, whichever comes first.

 

I love mine as well. I was going to get the no wave dial version but opted for the older model and have no regrets

 

I've got a similar issue: since I bought mine, I need several seconds before knowing what time is it, because I stare at the watch instead of rapidly see the hands...
Oh, and when I realize that I'm staring at it, I too found myself smiling....
