    Was just bidding on this:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120973034961#ht_500wt_925Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Because I wanted the bracelet and handset, and to then get rid of the watch after swapping its parts with my Cal 321. Put $1450 in, which is WAY more than I was prepared to bid, and ended up thinking to myself, I really hope I don't win this lol

Mind you, the time I bid $50,000 on that Seamaster was the most nervous, I nearly had a heart attack on that one

    Hope I don't go there with my c1958 !
I once bid £30000 on a camera, very squeeky bum time. Karma proved true and I got it for a spectacular £305 as it finished at an awfully unsociable time.

Hmm... you're after a 1958 Omega... if you were to stretch your budget a bit I'd have the perfect one for you lol

This is not the exact watch but the same model, mine has the silver dial instead of the white dial, but other than that the two are identical including case and hands. (picture gratuitously stolen from someone else on this forum)

Its an 18K Cal 320 chronograph, and my one is a 1958 according to the serial, price range is a fair ways above what you're looking at but if you're after a seriously awesome birth year piece that you won't see anyone else wearing, this would do the trick ;)

That's absolutely beautiful but too nice to wear for work which is what I'm after.

Thanks, if my lottery ticket comes up trumps I'll be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its currently being serviced and restored by Jesse in NY but its due to be done in the next week or so, here's the dial, its a brushed silver finish (vertical grain) with concentric subdials and solid gold markers:
