    Hi
I've inherited this unique Sultan of Oman "Qaboos" from my uncle years ago. It's not to my liking so how much do you think I can get for it? If this is not the right forum can you refer me to right one.
35,5 mm w/o crown. 18k unpolished case engraved Sultan of Oman "Qaboos" logo. 39mm lug to lug. No B/P. Original 18k full links bracelet signed (11) 1448/431. Original unaltered dial. Dial & hands are all original. Case and bracelet have light scratches due to general use. Keeps good time.
    Thanks in advance!
    Tim

I thought that was this forum, based on the number of uncle watches that get posted about.

Probably worth it's gold weight + 20% or so. Not a piece that stimulates most collectors. I think the engraving is pretty cool looking but not really of great interest to most. Does your uncle have anything else? :)

Amazingly dealer-like photos of that watch, eh tpatta? :D

To the OP: um, yeah....... is there a Middle Eastern watch forum somewhere? You might do better hawking it there. A large percentage of the members here wouldn't be too interested in that.

ps - moving to the Modern Forum.

Putting its "history" aside I wouldn't mind wearing one of these as I'm a sucker for Omega quartz watches and gold. It has to be one of the most "wearable" all YG watches out there? ;-)
