Hi guys- I'm in the market for a nice SM300 and came across this example. Everything looks alright, but I'm particularly curious about the lume on the dial not covering the entirety of the plot. Is that normal? How does everything else look? http://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-SEAMASTER-300-VINTAGE-165-024-/281833291315?Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network Thanks all in advance!
I'm just not sure on the lume on this one, maybe an old relume? Certainly the case (and case back) have been heavily polished. As usual, depends on the price but not a show winner for me.
I think it's ok. You should inquire if the bezel turns freely and clicks. It's a $100-$200 job to repair that.
Looks pretty good. Lume not covering the plots fully is nothing new. The issues with this are polished case and incorrect crown, but dial+bezel+handset look legit to me.
I disagree. The dial and hands look fine to me. Based on this photo the crown looks wrong. I don't think it's any kind of a deal at this price.
