That 105.003 looks like a good deal. I think I will put it in my cart and go for it.

If a deal seems too good to be true, well it usually is, doesn't matter where it's being offered. Should be common sense.

Esty used to be a good source. There are still good sellers but then they even had fake omegas that said fake omega on the add. I’ve also had people lie about service on watches once or twice. Like I said I dealt with a couple excellent sellers but when u see the reps around it turned me off in a way

And that 500 Rolex that’s about the price point I see on a few of the “quality reps”

There are a few categories of collectibles on Etsy where there are excellent sellers. I have a sizable and very valuable pipe collection and many were from Etsy sellers who restore them and provide excellent customer service. Like anything else- always buy the seller.

There certainly are. There are also a couple great Ukraine Vostok sellers. Can I say Vostok and great in the same sentence? Anyway I got a couple Vostok and raketa in the past, one of them was busted the dude apologized profusely and sent me another refusing to take the first one back and like JW said they do have some great non watch collectibles on the site watch wise though the place went down hill.

Got lucky with this one from Etsy a couple years ago.
Third world country at a low price. Was relieved when it showed up. 40D1E168-BF34-49FF-9DAC-9168D452CE30.jpeg

Yeah, I bought some good watches there in the past, but it is really bad now. I recently found a watch there and was researching it in Google images, only to discover that the etsy seller had scraped the images from Phigora. I engaged the seller long enough in conversation to determine that it was absolutely a scam. The seller is gone now.

It’s a shame, it’s kind of like a great hip neighborhood that once had boutiques and wonderful thrift shops. Then the chain kich shops and junk shops moved in to capitalize on the coolness and fucks it all up
