I picked up this 36mm Eterna a couple of weeks ago. It was an item that took my fancy on the bay and on a hot Sunday afternoon I came in from the garden and placed a bid with a few seconds remaining. To my surprise I got this piece for £102 delivered. The seller had it listed on another site (Gum Tree) for £650. It was described as a 70's watch made for the Sultanate of Oman. It runs well, has a good reserve and keeps excellent time. What concerns me is that despite hours on google and various watch sites I can find nothing about this watch. If anyone can shed any light on this I'd be hugely grateful. At the moment I see two scenarios: 1. I've got a rare or maybe unique watch here. 2. Let's all laugh at Mr Bing. Here she is..... Cheers, Paul
I've not seen any Eternas with the emblem, but plenty of Rolex. A few related threads, here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/seamaster-pro-sultan-of-oman-engraved-caseback.36650/#post-417820 https://omegaforums.net/threads/interesting-constellation-on-the-bay.3888/#post-44749
