Here's mine. I've never seen another with these "tower" markers and cross-hair dial.

New arrival! Had one of these Kontiki Four-Hands before, sold it but now back again in the collection. Hard to find in new or mint condition these days so jumped on this from a seller in the UK. Took about a year to find one. Bracelet is awesome, AR even better.

One of the best designs in wristwatches linked to historic exploration from a brand with a rich history dating all the way back to the 1850s. It makes a Rolex Explorer look rather plain and boring.. In my honest opinion, of course...

I’m definitely learning more about the brand. That’s a beautiful piece.

Posted elsewhere, in ignorance ::shy:: of this thread, but here for the record and because I truly love this little watch.

My first generation KonTiki. In soft light conditions, this dial really pops. It’s a long term keeper for me. A4B3E2E5-5E0E-4F33-A29F-AAF110D0DFB0.jpeg

Absolutely beautiful and Birk's branding is a plus for me. Were the hands and lume triangles redone on this, as they match spot on? Either way, it is stunning.

Thanks- this brings a smile to me every time I put it on. I bought it here from another OF member, and have had no regrets. The gold tone of the metal indices is subtle, and when it shows up in the light, it is striking.

The lume on the dial plots and the hands are all original. The hands and dial plots do not match color exactly, but are very close. The texture and graininess of the lume on both hands and dial is the same, and led me to the conclusion that they are original.

In that case, put me down on your dibs list for this piece. I know your keeping it for a while but that will allow more time for my allowance to build up, and the others that are ahead of me to lose interest...:D

Got your dibs noted! Thanks. But please be aware it’s not going anywhere soon.

Does anyone know what the dot like logo represent? I should probably just Google it right? Very nice watches

The 5 ball bearings that were in the original rotor design autowind system. Eterna was the first to use a ball bearing in the 1950's Eternamatic.
