Hi all, I recently bought this watch for the bracelet it came on (I already have one Kontiki) and realized the watch itself is quite nice, so I wanted to offer it for sale here. The dial is an off-white / champagne color with sunburst pattern. The dial itself is in excellent condition. There is a small piece of luminous material at 1 o'clock as well as some luminous dust under the crystal (see UV photo). The lume on the dial and hands has aged to a pleasant yellow color which matches the dial nicely. There are superficial scratches and minimal crazing on the crystal, which I decided to leave unpolished for the prospective buyer. The marks you see are on the crystal. The case is just over 34mm and appears unpolished to me. The case lines are quite sharp and well-seen. The crown is original. The caseback and medallion are in excellent condition. Serial number of 5151902 puts this at 1965. I believe the movement is a 1424U. This includes a quick set date by pulling back on the crown all the way. The watch runs and QSD functions as it should. I don't know about the service history but the movement appears quite clean. Time setting is a bit firm, so it could benefit from a service. I am asking $300, which will include worldwide shipping with tracking. For international deals, Transferwise is preferred. I have lots of feedback in the Seller Profile section if you search "MikeMan2727." Returns will only be accepted if the watch is misrepresented. I am happy to answer any questions or provide more photos if needed!
Agree with all of the above. These are underrated and this one is really nice. Just look at those crisp bevels and that case back medallion!
