Hi All,
amy Eterna guys out there?
I am looking at this early 40s 832 and have questions about the Eterna script on the dial.
Specifically the A. I typically see Eterna's of this era with angled sides and the upper top of the A in Eterna. this one is rounded. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you! Russ

Original, no worries.

There are typically exceptions to such general rules, and the rounded A was not uncommon.

Here's another that I own, and I have others:

Not what I was expecting when I saw the thread title, "Eterna 852". 😁

Here is another 1940s Eterna with rounded "A".

Many thanks, it's my favorite of the Czech pilot watches and I think it looks great with a @Duracuir1 strap. Some people ask why the case has scissors engraved on it. 😉

To be fair they do look a bit like scissors but I hope they didn't suggest it was a hair dressers watch 😀. The strap does look great.

I have had a couple with the cal 852 and the rounded A, it's a great movement but quite a loud ticker. Slight regrets at letting the 37mm round one go, but such is life.
