Erster Skin Diver Squale Case: Crown Tube O-Ring Help

I have this Erster skin diver that comes with a Squale case and I can't figure which O-ring might fit the tube & crown combination. I've tried this O-ring inside the tube as there is a small rehaut where it fits perfectly but pushing the crown inside is impossible without breaking the O-ring.

Movement is Felsa 4007N
O-ring is 2.8mm OD, 1.8 ID x 0.5 thick.

Did it have an O-ring in the case tube before you tried adding one?

No it didn't.
So are you sure there’s supposed to be one there?

It’s possible the only seal is inside the crown.

I am not sure of anything, the watch was not working when I found it so I am trying to make it work correctly.

It might use only a o-ring inside the crown as you say. I'll try that.

So I received a new movement (felsa 4007N) that came with a holder that I had to file down to adapt to this case and now the watch is working but as you can see there's a gap between the crown and the case.

Should I cut the stem?

I bought this watch in non working state and the crown came with the stem installed. Given the shape of the watch I presume it was kept in a drawer for years, so I wonder if I should cut the stem or if I did something wrong as both crown position are working fine now.

If you are sure the stem is all the way in a properly seated, yes.

If the answer is to cut the stem then what's the purpose of the spring inside the crown? A crown without the spring would be fine.

Crowns don't normally have a spring unless they are screw down crowns, which I don't believe this is.

If you don't want to cut the stem, then don't.

I ended up finding a tube & crown the same size of the original so I just swapped both. The original crown does screw a bit on the new tube so I think it is probably a screw down crown but the original tube has no thread anymore.
