    I recently picked up my first Super Compressor and I am smitten with the form factor. I have been researching the various brands that used the EPSA case -some big names, some not, and am wondering if all the cases were the same from certain eras in terms of crystal size, crown tubes crowns, and strap lug profile or were they custom spec’d by each brand that use them.
    I see so many with distressed crystals and normally that wouldn’t bother me, but I have read that crystals are NLA for these and nobody makes one specific for this style watch with it’s internal bezel. Has anyone found a decent aftermarket replacement?
    Also would love to find a fitted endlinks bracelet for mine, but with a lug width of 18.5mm, that makes it an odd-ball. Has anyone had luck with fitting an aftermarket bracelets to these?

    Maybe some more pics to get this rolling? Anyone else want to share their Super Compressors?

    Nice watch. There were many different variations, and while some cross-branded versions may share some of the same parts, finding the correct ones would be "hit or miss", I expect.

    Think there are a few members here that have loads of these little gems. I no longer own one but would like to put that right at some point. My old one...

    Yes the correct crystals are hard to find. Mine had a replacement when I bought it which affected the inner rotating bezel, took me alot of trial & error attempts to find a suitable replacement that didn't disable that bezel. Got there in the end with a thick walled hightop which was perfect with no affect on functionality but couldn't give you details with my memory I'm afraid. I would stick with the original if I were you, that one looks fine.

    Really nice Titus SC you have there BTW, like it alot.

    Oh, my Titus crystal is fine. I have seen other SC’s on eBay that are tempting, but many have crazed crystals which are on their way out and I won’t gamble if I don’t know if parts can be sourced. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck, and it sound like you did.

    I have this beat-up two-crown jumbo (42mm) FREY in an EPSA SC case. It's from 1961, which is quite early for a two-crown EPSA. Based on our previous conversations, I sense that it will not appeal to you since you are not a wabi-sabi kind of guy. ;)

    I also have a couple of one-crown EPSA SC watches without the internal rotating bezel, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.

    I'd like to add my Universal Geneve first execution Polerouter Sub, also in a 42mm ESPA SC case;

    I have been looking out for some endlinks myself for years now and they seem very hard to come by.

    Crystals, on the other hand, do pop up from time to time but you have to be very patient. eBay alerts have led me to a couple over the years and they even appear here on OF from time to time;

    Adding my ‘67 Jaquet-Droz here.

    Not sure what I like most, the front or the inside of the caseback :)
