Case looks pretty good and there can't be too many of those black sector dials though. The style has become pretty popular lately. Still, the price is very high!
I turned down one of the center seconds versions of these that was a fair bit nicer for $2000 mid last year as I just didn't quite see the money in it when in the past they'd been around for just over half that, maybe the center seconds is more common than the sub version, I know Norm has one of the SC ones too.
Missed this live and can't seem to see the bidding history now. But sounds like it will make a reappearance. Great watch and one I would love to own and wear, but not at that price. However, as Kyle said you certainly don't see many of them around and not with the black and fashionable sector dials. As a comparison Jackmond had I believe a CK2013 with black enamel dial for about USD 2k
