Hi All,

Up for sale is a world timer for tracking those overseas zoom calls in these non-traveling times. This is an early Mark II based on the engraving “146/001” on its caseback. Aside from a few dings at the edge of the lugs (one on the lower left and two small ones on the upper right), the case is clean with its lug facets intact. The caseback has swirls that is expected of its age and a few very light case opening marks. The oyster engraving on the caseback is clean and all other etching is still visible. The original signed crowns are in good shape, the one at 2 O’clock rotates the inner hour chapter ring and the 4 O’clock crown sets the time.

The lovely matte black dial, with all its lume intact, pairs well with the patinated hour chapter ring. The baton hands retain its lume at the end, the lollipop running second hand is clean but there is slight oxidation on the GMT hand, the tip is darkened but I don’t think there is any tritium on it. The red date wheel provides a nice contrast to the adjacent black/white numerals of the hour chapter ring.

The bezel edge is slightly worn but all cities are legible. The index marker ring retained its lovely metallic red except for at the tip of the triangle. The watch was serviced by Adam at Lewis Watch Co. in 2018 and seldomly worn after its service. I have included a picture of the movement after its service before the rotor is installed for reference. Needless to say, the watch is keeping time and working flawlessly. The sale will be for watch head only, the grey canvas strap shown is not part of this sale.
