I won this(https://www.bukowskis.com/en/auctions/603/85-enicar-sherpa-600-ops-armbandsur-40-43-mm) today. Regardless the price, premium, tax... It's a really really nice watch that I always want. More importantly, the watch is in almost perfect condition, even with a box!

Very nice! And very happy that it went to the OF family! I was about to verify my id with the auction house to bid on this one but figured it was to late 20 minutes before the auction.

Superb condition! Quite rare and for the hammer price still a good deal!

Edit: oh and please post some real life pictures when you get it! I bet the lume has some beautiful patina to it! The over bright lightning of the auction pictures only gives a hint to the creamy color! .

Good deal or not, plus premium and tax..., I'm not so sure. At very least, OPS with this condition does not come often. In vintage world, I always believe condition (originality and parts' status) is the key.

And you'r absolutely right with that statement! Condition is king! I think you did good, considering the hammer price even with taxes etc.
I did some reading up before this auction about the OPS and found several articles and statements that an OPS in this condition will run around 3k$.

I bought one too... just last weekend ! Will post pictures when it arrives. I think the condition should be OK but almost certainly not as good as yours. Hard to tell from the seller's crappy pics. Same iteration as yours too

Love enicar. This just landed for me yesterday. Love it! Very undervalued imo

 

Well my Sherpa OPS turned up today. To be sure it isn't collector grade, but I think it looks good and seems to be fully original. Certainly needs a service and a clean though.

 

Some of the edge paint wear can be masked/touched up. Enjoy it.
