When I started my watch hobby 3 years ago, my focus was on Omega and Rolex. But a year ago I began to look into other brands, and a whole new World opened for me. Today I bought my first Enicar Sherpa Graph MK3 from the 1960s. As far as I can read Enicar has exploded in popularity in recent years, and the brand's fan base is growing steadily worldwide. Among other things, the reason is that Enicar has a super cool history. Among other things, the brand is known for sponsoring a nummer of racing drivers in the 60s, including legend Jim Clark. You can read much more at: https://enicar101.com/ https://enicar.org/ Personally I think Enicar's Sherpa Graphs has a very strong chronograph design. At the same time, the movement is the legendary Valjoux 72 - the same work as the old Rolex Daytonas. The watch I just bought features a black MK3 dial with deliciously patinated indexes and silver gray subdials that provide the most fun play in the light.
For me its the opposite. I love that unique design (though the Sovjet Strela has very similar ones). How can someone not love these If someone doesn't like his paddle hand Jet Graph,...I am looking for one
Funny you say that, I've recently gotten one if the re-issue Strelas and I ended up buying the steel hands, white dial version instead of the lumed paddle hand, black dial version. But to each their own
These are great pieces. I love how Enicar gained its well deserved popularity in today's watch world. The association of the Sherpa Graph with racing legend Jim Clark puts them in a special place in my heart, one day I'll definitely get one. Wear them in good health, gentlemen!
Awesome Sherpa Graph Congrats! I've been looking for a Garnix 2303 for quite sometime. I'll post pics as soon as i buy it
Great watches, well-engineered and highly underrated. It's good to see them making a rise through the ranks ATM.
Hi everyone! I’m new to the forum but have been active on others. I hope it’s okey as my first post that I start of with a question? Here goes, so I won this Sherpa divette that has a nice dial but unfortunatly with relumed hour and minute hands and wrong seconds hand for the watch. I can live with all these ”defects” but what I’m really looking for is an bezel and insert as the watch didn’t come with one. Do any of you know where it could be possible to source one of those? I have two Sherpa Graphs . . . It's the paddle hands that first caught my eye, and I am not as keen on the tuning fork hands; so as they say, "to each, his own." This one was serviced upon receipt and is a splendid example of a later Mark I - Mark Id as Nico refers to it: My first one was also a Mark III . . . Currently it is at the watchmaker's workshop receiving a full service and a central hands-swap. The hands as you see below must have rusted at some point years ago and were painted white. One can see the rusted tip on the central seconds: It still looks pretty good though to my eye.
