·Hi folks, new here, and happy to join! I just bought a vintage Omega ref. 155.0015 that I love. It was a Japan market watch, made from 72-73. Unfortunately, it came with a broken end link or connector piece needs to replaced or repaired. The bracelet is ref. 2051.
I spoke to Omega, and they recommended mailing the watch to them, which would get forwarded to Switzerland for an evaluation. They could not provide price quotes before they received it, not even order of magnitude.
Before I send my watch, I am curious if folks have important feedback they can share on this, and what your thoughts are on:
1) If anyone has experience of Omega costs for a small part like this
2) Does anyone know of a source of these end links for a ref. 2051 bracelet. I messaged a couple of Japanese eBay sellers but no luck.
I also thought this part could potentially be repaired, but I think it stretched over the years, and should probably be replaced.
Thank you in advance!
