    Having sold the one above I am down to these two for blue dials, both very early purchases. 20181230_131720.jpg 20181230_131207.jpg I've had the Seiko serviced twice now and my wife has put her strap on the chrono so I don't get to wear it much any more

    My first "expensive" watch purchase was this beauty around 1 year ago. Prior to that I had only spent max of £100 at a time on mainly fashion watches.

    I didn't really know anything about watches prior to the purchase (not much has changed on that front!!) and was drawn To the Monaco because I loved the blue dial and just thought it looked cool

    I started this thread 3.5 years ago. Still have many of the original blue dials I posted, and a few additions. Most recent is the Nodus. I also had to change the battery on the Invicta. I had a tough choice, do I spend $10 on a battery for a watch that was $35? Hell yes!! It's an Invicta!!

    I got a blue Seiko Presage for my son in law for Christmas... they look so nice; I nearly didn’t want to give it to him.
