I really like the look of 231.10.39.21.03.001 Aqua Terra. Fact that it was in Skyfall is just an added bonus for me as a Bond fan. From what I saw these usually go for north of $3500. Found one that I can get for $2600 all in. It comes with all the paperwork, boxes, cards and so on, so full package. In terms of issues, looks all good, other than one small nick in the case, which is kinda hard to see, and usual wear on the bracelet.

Price looks good, and all that, but I just cant take that one final step to bite on it.

Do it. The blue Aqua Terra is a modern classic whether in mid size or full.

If you don't do it, either Trump or Clinton will be elected President! You gotta do it! For all of us!

LOL, I think no matter what I do, you guys are screwed. Being a neighbor up north though, next 4 years will surely make some good comedy. I am just waiting for Trump to build his wall

Uncle Sam is a little bruised, but without him, the world would be a much, much colder and darker place. Just pray he gets back on track.

    Thanks for that, SD.

This was a 'Non-Thread' until we had some pictures!

It's a beautiful watch. If there were a 'no date' version I would already have one!

The price seems too good to be true...let's hope the ol' saying doesn't hold true also...:cautious:

@cvrle1 , is that what's holding you back?

Not as much actually. When I sent him an offer I told him that is max I can go to due to weak CDN $. He came back and said he isnt going to accept the offer as he doesnt want to deal with customs and potential issues for an expensive item such as this. If it was scammer, he would have taken the money and ran i would think. Only when I said I would ship to US he agreed. It is more that I came across it when I didnt plan. I was hoping to score a vintage Omega for a good price, but who knows if and when that will happen. With my luck, i would get this, and then next day I would find a vintage deal haha. That is more what is holding me back.

Well, then, at that price, you should just go ahead and DO IT.

You can always flip it here, easily, if that fine vintage Omega you are looking for comes merrily along...:)

The case is fat. The hands are mismatched. The fact that it was in a recent Bond movie is an insult to Ian Fleming; the only reason it was on screen was paid product placement. If Bond was supposed to wear an Omega, Fleming would have said so. The coaxial movement has shown to be no more accurate, harder to service and in its comparatively short life in horology less reliable than conventional movements.

Oh, you wanted enablers! I'm sorry, I thought you wanted somebody to talk you out on it.

    I'm dreadfully embarrassed. Never mind.

Well, truth be told it is all Pierce Brosnan's fault. He started wearing an Omega. Bond's before him did wear a Rolex, which was in Fleming novels :)

As for the other points, I got nothing really. Thanks for the help lol
