Good news. This is not another Speedmaster Maddox Grail thread. All the watches are locked away safe and sound, the house is being handed to our builder for a new kitchen and heating system. And I'm off to the beach. Will try not to create 50 threads about how much I love my Grail... Let's see how this thing patinates in the sun.
The only times I have to worry about are flight times, and whether the bar is still open... Tickets are on my phone, so that's the first point checked off... The bar... I'll go for the visual cues.
Some of my father's best advice to me was that you should limit yourself to two decisions per day while on vacation and the first one was when to start drinking. Have fun!
Seems overly complicated... And yet not quite complicated enough... Where's the pre-dinner sherry indicator, or the post coffee port warning?
Not at all - perfect! Have a good vacation and may there be no drama with the construction. (I'm jealous - I don't think I can put a picture in my OOO. I'll have to investigate...) --in A Corporate Gig
The more photos I see of Sinn watches the more time I spend convincing myself not to spend money on one. I have succeded so far but I don't know, how much longer I can hold out.
Somehow the name Sinn just gets to me... I have enough problems without the label on my watch reminding me. Is that weird?
Maybe it's time for a little German lesson to put your mind at rest. "Sinn" means sense, "Sinnvol" doesn't mean full of sin, rather meaningful. So buying a Sinn watch makes sense and may even add meaning to your life, watch collection...or whatever.
Also very cool. Although I might be tempted to get the DC56 since I had my hand in some of the technology on-board the Eurofighter.
