Elusive 7077 Springs

I’ve just recently acquired a grail item for me: an 18kt 7077 bracelet that will, I hope, class up my favorite Connie (@DRjre086’s 14393/4, which has been my daily driver since I got it back from service) even more.

However, the springs are (unsurprisingly) almost completely shot on all of the double-links. I’ve seen a few old posts on this forum, and talked to a few collectors one-on-one, about certain watchmakers that are able to reproduce these springs. But watch collectors are cagier than an old woman with her baking recipes, and I have yet to get any names. Anyone feel like spilling the beans—if they’ve got beans to spill?

These are correct, so you could just have your WM order some?

I wasn’t aware that watchmakers could order parts for vintage (read: not-modern) watches directly from Omega. I’m usually suspicious of asking the doctor for a specific medication by name, but in this case, I’ll make an exception.

Since these are parts for a bracelet, pretty much anyone can order them. You just have to find an Omega boutique, AD, or service center that will actually bother to do it for you.

“I’ve always depended on the kindness of Omega SA.”

Now, will those springs—085ST7077—work for an 18k 7077? I noticed in the thread @aprax shared that you mentioned that the original springs for gold bracelets (085BA7077) were discontinued, so I just want to make sure.

The BA version is discontinued.
