I picked up this EP Surf at the start of the year here on the forum.
Been really pleased - especially with the size which at 36mm is a good fit for my skinny 6.5" wrist.
It has been running really well, testament to a couple of services in 2013 and 2020 and despite some 'honest' wear that has resulted in a few chunky dings around case.
On closer inspection it looks like there has been some work done to restore the brushed finish but I have the suspicion that the brushing may have been overdone.
I've spent a good while pouring over pictures on the web to try to establish the correct finish but have basically discovered that there are probably as many over-polished examples as there are over-brushed.
My guess would be that only the upper surface of the case should have brushed finish and that the bezel and case sides should be polished
Does anyone have a definitive (or well educated) answer?
