My watchmaker doesn't work on El Primero's...can anyone recommend a watchmaker?

Swiss Watchmakers in Miami. Patrick is Swiss, swiss-trained, and worked at Vacheron for years. He knows the El Primero movement.

If ever it needs servicing again in the future, please contact my company (Waldan International). We are located in New York, NY and our watchmakers can work on any Zenith caliber. They are most proficient with the "El Primero's" because we bought up a massive stock of movements and NOS parts from Zenith when they liquidated them all during the quartz crisis. We also have every single part available in house, so no need to source parts from other watchmakers.

 

Do you have hands and pushers...for say ano a3818?

 

I look forward to hearing back from members on their experiences with these watchmakers. Most references I've received are for European based watchmakers, so would be nice to have good options for vintage EP's in the States.

 

Not on hand, but we can try to find it for you.

 

Most of our watchmakers are from outside of the US but have spent their years in the US working for various service departments such as Ebel and Rolex.

 

Just an update, after nearly 6 months Orlando Watch Company just called and said they are returning the watch without service as they are unable to get parts. Not bad, it only took them 6 moths to figure this out...I guess thats completely reasonable.

Clearly finding a good watchmaker these days is not an easy task...but this simply blows my mind. If this is how I ran my business I would have been bankrupt years ago.

Needless to say, I would advise avoiding this group. #utterfailure

Ok, its been a long crazy journey...but she is finally back.

Thanks to Andrew at Waldan International for getting her back in shape. Turn around was very prompt.
Less than 30 days from shipping to return.

This is a beast...its like wearing an armored tank.

 

Great news, I also have A386 will be due for service in few years.
