I have taken a liking to the blue and gold Rainbows but they seem hard to find. I'm following this one on eBay but, from what I can tell from the mediocre photos, it appears to be heavily polished. Not sure about the lume either. It does have the inner and outer box. Regardless, the seller is asking $4495 which seems very high considering eBay Germany has a 53-0370-400 for $2600 (the seller won't ship to the US). I'd like to hear your thoughts on where the market really is for this model.

 

Agree price is high, and case is polished. I think these are well behind the colorful steel Rainbows in general desirability. You should be able to get a nicer one than that under $3k, in my opinion.

 

Agree with MMMD. Definitely less desirable than black dial, colored register version.
