The stupidity of this makes me quite angry. Surely the seller realises this is a collector piece, not a noob, impulse purchase. So why polish the case so much. You would imagine that anyone who sells lots of watches would know a collector would prefer a scratched patinated case to the mirror finish on this one. I can understand (though not like ) heavy polishing on a cheaper old seamaster with the noob/gift market in mind. But, why oh why on something that is so rare and valuable.
And the above is before the aberration that are the pushers. I have a good mind to write to the seller.

Hopefully they will get inundated with negative questions, which might alert the less well informed than OF members

Questions must be shown by seller only. Your guess is as good as any, if we will see any real questions

There are lots of ways to repair things that might not be familiar to people here. This case could be repaired by filling the holes (stainless steel plugs, laser welded in place) and drilling them out again for the right pushers, but it would take a lot of work, angles and locations would have to be carefully mapped out, etc.

    Cheers, Al

So pretty much not worth it unless this sells for a bargain.

I just sent the seller an email, asking about originality, but from a completely naive perspective.. will be interesting to see if they reply.
